dc.description.abstract香的功能廣泛,從清神、避瘴、除臭、醒腦等實用的功能到嗅覺、氣味品評,乃至鼻觀先參的精神層次。宋代發展出雅俗共賞的用香文化,《陳氏香譜》記載民間普遍用香情形,如:日常生活使用的印篆、凝和、佩薰、塗傅等香方,香藥的收儲、香品、香茶、香珠等脩製方法,無一不備;同時也收錄文人雅士以香為題,或藉香吟詠寄情的詩文,如李琳所言:「韋應物掃地焚香,燕寢為之凝清;黃魯直隱几炷香,靈臺為之空湛。」_x000D_ 宋代用香的蓬勃發展,紀錄用香及其相關事物之專書蔚為風潮。《四庫總目提要》對《陳氏香譜》評語是:「集沈立、洪芻以下十一家之香譜彙成一書。」認為是宋代眾香譜集大成者。_x000D_ 《陳氏香譜》自元代刊刻以來,歷經傳抄與重雕,今傳各本均有優劣與缺失,主要有四庫本之《陳氏香譜》四卷與適園叢書、鐵琴銅劍樓收藏之《新纂香譜》二卷抄本。因傳統用香之研究者不多,未見對《陳氏香譜》的版本探討。本篇之作,除論述各版本流傳情形,也以四庫本之《陳氏香譜》為底本,適園叢書本之《新纂香譜》為輔、參之明代《香乘》校勘,期能得到較為完善的本子,作為後續研究之用。

dc.description.translationabstractThe usage of Xiang is very broad, and its practical functions range from clearing the head and mind, scaring the devil away, deodorizing, appraising smell, to appreciating aromas at the spiritual level. In the Song Dynasty a Xiang culture was developed and appreciated by people of both refined and popular tastes. According to_x000D_ Chen’s Xiangpu, Xiang was widely used in daily life, such as the inkpad of the stamp, an accessory of clothing, and anointment. The storage of the Xiang substances and the production methods of Xiang products, such as Xiang teas and Xiang beads, were very complete. In the meantime, Chen’s Xiangpu also collected the poems on the topic of Xiang which were recited and written by some scholars and refined persons to express their feelings._x000D_ With the development of the Xiang culture, books on the use of Xiang and other related things became popular. As Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu Ti Yao comments, Chen’s Xiangpu collected about eleven Xiangpus produced after Shen Li, Hong Chu._x000D_ This Xiangpu has been considered the greatest Xiangpu of all the Xiangpus in the Song Dynasty._x000D_ In the Yuan Dynasty, Chen’s Xiangpu was reproduced by copying and recarving. The remaining copies we have found today are of both good and bad quality. Each copy also has some shortcomings. The four volumes of Chen’s Xiangpu of Si Ku Ben, and the two volumes of Shin Tsuan’s New Xiangpu collected by Tie Chin Tong Jian Lo of Shih Yuan Book Collection are the main versions widely used. Till now only very few scholars have studied the traditional usage of Xiang, and the study on Chen’s Xiangpu has not been done yet. Besides elaborating on the wide spread of_x000D_ various copies of Xiangpu, this article mainly discusses Chen’s Xiangpu of Si Ku Ben with Shin Tsuan’s New Xiangpu of Shih Yuan Book Collection as a supplementary source, and with Xiang Cheng in the Ming Dynasty as a reference, in order to obtain a complete version that can be used for successive research.
