Abstract

Video contentmanagement has becomemore and more important now.Video contentmanagement technologies include shot detection, shot classification, special event detection, eventmining, and indexing.Byway of observing the change of the different shots, some important shots or even video segments should be recognized automatically.For example, close shot, slowmotion shot, repeat segment all that people interest. Those shots/segments should be detected and indexed. In this paper,we proposed an integrated video contentmanagement systemand tried to represent the event detecting and indexingmethods for sport video.The proposed approaches have been tested in several football games.Our experimental results have indicated certainly accuracy and efficiency.We believe somemore other sport videos are also can be to implementwith.
