dc.description.abstractQoS is eager for the future networking, especially for the multimedia networks. The QoS control algorithm can be implemented in a node of multimedia networks to achieve the QoS. This paper proposes a QoS buffer management algorithm, named as GREEN (Global Random Early Estimation for Nipping) to efficiently control the resource to meet the QoS requirement. Different from other buffer management algorithm, GREEN includes the consideration of QoS parameter. In the numerical, extensive numerical cases are used to show the outperformance and characteristics.
