dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we propose a learning game design pipeline and method to enable general teachers to design their own learning games corresponded to teaching principle. Teachers can follow the pipeline or method to design learning game easily. The completed modular digital games can be easily replaced or combined with others. Teachers can share the game units each other or integrate the different game units. In this paper, the designed math game units which are designed in principle of curricular vertical organization are corresponding to the education method. In our evaluation, a group of 5th grade elementary school students are chosen to play the game. The experiment result shows that students’ learning effect and learning interest to the subject is improved.
