dc.description.abstractIn this case study we will examine the story of Budcat Creations, a small time video game production studio created in October 2000 and the events that led to its buy out and eventual closing in October of 2010. The focus of this study is to dissect the events that led to Activision Blizzard’s procurement of Budcat Creations and invite discussion into the broader issues this case brings to light.
