dc.description.abstractBuilding a rule-based classication system from a training data set is an important re- search topic in the area of data mining, knowl- edge discovery, and expert systems. In this pa- per, a new method, using hierarchical genetic al- gorithms with multiple rule gene tables, is pre- sented. By using multiple rule gene tables, a higher recognition rate can be achieved.
