| 摘要: | 近日來聯合航空暴力驅趕乘客事件在媒體上鬧得沸沸揚揚，讓我們不禁好
奇，為何聯合航空有恃無恐的驅趕乘客，仍然可以在市場上佔有一席之地?因此
我們決定對此問題做探討及分析，首先我們先針對美國航空業做一個整體的比
較，其中包含各項財務比率與營運模式的分析，再探討聯合航空的事件始末、公
關處理、與財務影響，藉由詳細的調查來分析原因並做出結論 The recent United Airways incident has prompted outrage over social media. While passengers are insulted in such unacceptable manner, why would United Airlines survive in the highly-competitive aviation industry? Base on this incident, we conducted a series of investigations and analyses to find out the factors that support United Airlines’ survival. We first conducted a comprehensive analysis on the US aviation industry, in which we compared various financial ratios and modes of operations. We then investigated the cause of this incident, PR responses, and the financial impacts brought by this incident. |
