臺中世界花卉博覽會是一區域型的展覽活動，不但能帶動舉辦地區之附近區域的經濟發展，亦能在展覽期間帶來相當可觀的效益。然而在花博結束後，園區該如何利用？在2018年台中花博場地約60.88公頃，其中15公頃為后里森林園區，政府預計在花博過後將其改為56%供住商使用的土地，另外44%為政府機關、停車場、公園等公共設施，可是我們期望在花博過後並非是全部推翻重新來過，而是能夠持續為當地帶來繁榮且與當地的社會人文結合，不但在花博初期帶來經濟效應甚至能在結束後能有效利用為當地居民服務，這便是本組探討的主題。 為了能與當地做結合，因此先藉由土地使用現況調查與蒐集當地社會環境與自然環境資料的一手或二手資料等。並從中分析去了解計畫範圍內的現況與未來可能面對道的問題與困境，如：「人口結構呈現老年人口增多、醫療設施不足及公共設施用地多未被充分利用」等。再利用土地適宜性分析方法，得出老年與醫療照護的適宜性等有用之訊息，然後擬定計畫並且做空間上的配置。從此一方面著手，制定一能將花博場域充分利用並且與相關計畫配合，並確切的提出幫助當地居民的計畫。

Abstract

Taichung World Flora Exposition is a regional exhibition. During the Exposition, not only can it strengthen the economy, but it also brings considerable benefits. However, how to continuously bring benefits after the show comes to an end becomes a problem. The Taichung World Flora Exposition covers an area of 60.88 hectares, with 15 percent of the area being covered by Houli Forest. The government is planning to alter approximately 56% of the land to build a residential area and the rest of the 44% will be used to build infrastructure. Nevertheless, we expect the exhibition can keep brining prosperity to this place and be combined with local culture instead of renovating the whole area diametrically. Besides bringing an positive effect on the economy at the beginning of the event, the exposition can effectively provide assistance for residents, and this is the issue that our group is exploring. In order to integrate the exposition into the local society, research of investigated land no less than First-hand/ second-hand data of natural and social environment are applied to analyze the circumstances within the scope of the project and problems of increasing population of elders, shortage of medical facilities, and inadequate use of public facilities etc. After that, we use land suitability analysis to analyze the suitability of the planning scope. On the basis of the collected information such as geriatric care and medical demand, which can decide our research purpose, formulating a new idea that can be in line with other related projects is to be planned.
